WEB DESIGN reprezents a complex process of conceptualization, planning and execution of electronic econtent posted and delivered through Internet.

The meaning of WEB DESIGN is to create the graphical interface of a web site. It consists of a collection of elements like text, images (.gif, .jpeg, .png), forms, animations, videos and sounds. To design a web page is to find a suited arrangement of all these elements.
 

    There are 4 basic aspects of design that must be taken into consideration when designing a webpage:

    1. The content:  The substance and the information posted on the site must be relevant and should aim the area of the public that the website is concerned with.
    2. The usability:  A site should always be user-friendly, clean and simple. 
    3. The appearance:  Both graphics and text must be based on a single style to show the consistence of the site. The style should be professional and appealing.
    4. The visibility:  The web site must be easily found via Internet, through all the major search engines.   


The purpose of WEB DESIGN is to facilitate communication between user and content.
